Assist. General Secretary: Mr. Alarape Afolabi

I was born into the Adamasingba family,Adamasingba in Ibadan. I attended Salvation Army Primary School,Inalende Okeagala,Ibadan; Renascent High School,Aremo,Ibadan and the University of Ibadan,Ibadan.

I worked at the Ministry of Education,secretariat Ibadan and later at the Central Schools' Board,Ibadan after my secondary school education.After my graduation at the University of Ibadan I worked at the Finance and Establishment department of the Governor's office at Abodi,Ibadan and later at the Protocol department of the office of the Governor,Ibadan before I moved to the United States of America.

When I was working at the Local Schools' Board at Eruwa in Ibarapa division after my secondary school education,I was elected Auditor of the Ibadan Descendant Union for Ibarapa division.During my undergraduate days at the university of Ibaban I was also elected the Auditor of the Ibadan Descendant Union for the 1980/81 and 1981/82 academic sessions.

On my movement to the United States I joined the membership of the IDU Chicago chapter in which I was elected the Treasurer of the Ibadan Descendants' Association Chicago 2008-2010. and currently holding the office of the Honorable Assistant General Secretary IDU USA  national from the 2010 national convention in New York.
